Coral Red Beauty

My apologies, I understand that we should have not touched this coral much more remove it from its natural habitat. 

I will try to wash my hands of this crime by saying that I have no knowledge of it. I went up the boat after snorkling and found our boatman with the coral in his hand. I won't deny I was happy to see it, my fascination apparent in the number of photos i took of the poor creature. I asked Manong to put it back but he said it was dead the moment he lifted it out of the water.

I vow to not let this happen again under my watch in any of my travels. It's the least I can do to help protect such a rare beauty.

I am truly sorry for offending Mother Nature and all that love her wonderful creation!
